About the Program:
This is a resource designed to provide financial assistance to members of the lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LBQTI) community in the South-South and North Central regions of Nigeria, who are facing unexpected expenses or financial hardship.
Our Emergency Fund provides immediate relief for:
- Urgent medical and mental health care
- ✅ Legal aid for discrimination and safety concerns
- ✅ Safe housing and food assistance
- ✅ Educational and vocational support
Eligibility:
- Age: Must be 18 years or older
- Sexual Orientation: Must identify as a lesbian, bisexual, queer woman, intersex or transman
- Need: Must demonstrate a current and dire emergency need
- Documentation: Must provide appropriate supporting documents, such as, but not limited to, proof of medical report, medical bill, pictures of physical injuries.)
- Non-duplication of Benefits: Must not have received assistance from our organization or other organizations within the past 12 months
